On a Plinth Series (2020/21)

‘On a Plinth’ explores the dominant paradigms of power during the age of digital revolution and modern capitalism. The artworks critique tools of social control, including religion, industry, the media, and the police. A plinth, traditionally used as a support structure for a statue or an object, forms the base of each artwork with the intention of elevating these instruments as spectacles.
