
Malinda Jayasinghe (b. 1992) is a self-taught visual artist from Gampaha. He began his art career after completing an Art History course at Theertha International Artists Collective in 2019. His current practice combines drawing, painting and sculpting to explore religious, racial and gender privilege in institutions of power. In 2023, Jayasinghe completed a residency at Colomboscope and held his debut solo exhibition at the Harold Peiris Gallery. Since then he has exhibited in group shows in Colombo and Delhi. His latest solo exhibition, ‘Men in Robes’ was held at Paradise Road Gallery in August 2025.
