Currency Series (2022 —)

This acrylic and ink based series was developed following Sri Lanka’s economic crisis, as inflation started to increase and the cost of living became more unaffordable. The satirical notes use imagery which is not typically used on currency to symbolize the causes of the crisis as well as the repercussions.
